BOOKING INFORMATION

  • Do I have to pay city tax?

No, you don't have to pay city tax, everything is included in the Booking price. 

  • How do I cancel my booking?

If you are booking through various booking vendor like Booking.com, Airbnb, HostelWorld you can just request to cancel your booking but if you have made a query through our website you need to write an email about the cancellation of room.

  • What's your cancellation and refund policy?

No money will be return if you have request for cancellation of room from Airbnb and HostelWorld but other than this cancellation is free of Charge. If you are check in and want to cancel your room no money will be refunded.

  • Can I change my booking?

Yes, you can change your booking until your arrival to our Hostel but Change booking may increase in your fair as well.

  • Do you have any discount codes available?

No, We don't have discount code available yet, we are working so hard to bring this service as soon as possible.

  • Can I still book if I don't have a credit card?

Yes you can book your room without credit card but need to clear your payment after check in.

  • Can I pay for my room using cash?

Yes, you can pay using cash as well. For our guest flexibility we accept currency from almost all country.

  • I haven't received a confirmation. What should I do?

If you haven't received your confirmation after booking your room, you can just send us query regarding your problems. We are available 24×7 hours for guest support.

  • How long can I stay at the hostel?

Normally you can stay as long as you want. You can extend your living period if you like our room as services.

  • How can I do a group booking?

You can just make a query sending mail to our email address including your group size, number of days you are living.

  • Can I be sure all my friends will be put into the same dorm?

If our dormitory room is vacant on your booking date, all of your friends can be put on same dorm. It means there should be maximum 9 people on your group. 

  • Can under 18s stay at 8848 Hostel?

Yes, normally there is no age bar to stay on our hostel but for the children under 12 years they must be with their parents

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in time is 

  • Can I arrive in the middle of the night?

Yes, you can arrive middle of the night, we have 24 hours assistance service. 

  • Can I store my luggage before and after check-in?

Yes, you can store luggage within our premises. 

  • Do the properties have disabled access?

No, Our property does not have disabled access. 

  • Can you gain entry to the 8848 Hostel at night?

Yes, you can enter to 8848 hostel at any time.

  • How much does late check out cost?

Late check out will cost a full price that you pay for a night.

  • Are there hair dryers?

Yes, there are hair dryers on call. 

  • Are towels supplied in all rooms?

All rooms contain towel: 1 towel for single and double rooms and 2 towels for family rooms.

  • Are the beds single or double?

Yes, we offer single, double and triple beds room.

  • Does 8848 Hostel accept pets?

No, we do not accept pets.

  • Can I get something delivered to my room?
  • Is all bed lined supplied?
  • Can I bring guests in whom aren't staying at the 8848 Hostel?
  • Do you have any laundry facilities and how much are they?
  • Do the rooms have lockers for storage?
  • If my luggage is too big for under-bed lockers, can I store them elsewhere?
  • Can I buy a travel adaptor?
  • Is Wi-Fi free to use?
  • Are toiletries supplied?
  • Can I rent a bike at 8848 Hostel?

Food and drinks

  • How much does breakfast cost?

Our Breakfast menu is fixed. If breakfast is included in your booking, our breakfast time start from 8 am to 10 am. Other than this you will be charge Rs 200 for breakfast.

  • Do you have a kitchen to cook my own meal?

Yes we have sharing kitchen. You can cook your own food paying certain amount of charge.

  • Do you serve lunch and dinner?

Normally lunch and dinner is not included in our booking package. If you prefer to have lunch and dinner in our roof top restaurant you can serve you Lunch and Dinner.

  • What time does the bar open and close?

Our cash bar open from early afternoon to late 10 pm. 

  • Can I bring my own food and drink into the property?

Yes you are eligible to bring your own food and drink into our Hostel.

  • Can I pre-book my meal?

Yes you can pre-book your meal in our restaurant.

  • What is your rooftop/restaurant opening times? Can I book a table?

Our rooftop restaurant open early in the morning to late 10 pm. We don't have table booking system but you can PRE-inform us if you are having friends gathering.
